Broadcast Outputs

Stable scoreboard outputs managed from each broadcast.

Purpose

A broadcast combines its managed courts, optional roster, and one or more scoreboard designs. Open Scoreboard creates and maintains the underlying output routes automatically, so operators work with named courts and scoreboard outputs instead of dynamic URLs.

How to create it

  1. 1Create a broadcast and give it a recognizable production name.
  2. 2Add and name the courts or playing areas managed by the broadcast.
  3. 3Optionally link a roster used by every court in the broadcast.
  4. 4Add the scoreboard designs needed for the production, then open each court's outputs from the broadcast workspace.

Use it for

  • OBS scenes where browser source URLs should stay stable.
  • Venue screens that rotate between tables or matches.
  • Competition displays where the active source changes during the event.

Notes

  • Keep scoreboard designs linked to the broadcast to preserve their existing output routes.
  • Output routing is managed automatically and does not need to be edited directly.
