Common ways to combine the features on event day.

Purpose

Most events use a repeatable path: prepare data, create scoring surfaces, create displays, schedule matches, then monitor results.

How to create it

  1. 1Simple table: create a table, open scoring, create a scoreboard, and point it at that table.
  2. 2Player-list event: create a player list, link it to a table, then select players in the scoring wizard.
  3. 3Individual tournament: create a competition, seed players, generate matches, push matches to tables, and show a display.
  4. 4Team tournament: create teams, define tie format, share portals, then push ready player matches to tables.
  5. 5Broadcast setup: create scoreboard designs, then create a broadcast to connect courts, roster data, and production outputs.

Use it for

  • Planning event setup before match day.
  • Training volunteers and scorekeepers.
  • Choosing whether a feature is needed for a simple event or full tournament.

Notes

  • Start with the smallest structure that solves the event.
  • Clean rosters make every later step smoother.
