Score

Rosters

Manage player and team lists from one place.

Purpose

Rosters are the user-facing home for reusable people data. An individual roster creates a managed player list behind the scenes, and a team roster creates a managed team behind the scenes so existing scoring, registration, and display systems keep working.

How to create it

  1. 1Open Rosters and choose Individual when the list is a pool of players.
  2. 2Choose Team when the roster represents one club, school, league team, or event squad.
  3. 3Add players after the roster is created.
  4. 4Use roster-backed records in broadcasts, courts, registrations, scoreboards, team matches, and competitions.

Use it for

  • Broadcasts where scorekeepers should pick known players instead of typing names.
  • Events that reuse the same player pool across courts or competitions.
  • Team workflows that need a name, logo, jersey color, and reusable lineup.

Notes

  • Use Rosters for new work. Player Lists and Teams remain available under Legacy for older setups.
  • Roster-managed backing records are hidden from the legacy list pages to avoid duplicate concepts.
